Omg The Rain!!

I’m watching TV and wondered what on earth the noise was - sounded as though there was a terrible leak and it was coming thru the ceiling - go to the window and look outside - I’ve never seen rain like it!! Our road has literally turned into a mini river!! Boat anyone??

Rain stopped for the moment. Can’t sleep so have been peeking outside and checking lol.

It's been chucking it down all day in Glasgow too, not that that's anything particularly unusual. As the French say, "Il pleut comme vache qui pisse."

You're not far from me Smow, and yes it was chucking it down in Coulsdon too. Thought we were going to get flooded but luckily we didn't. Heard some thunder around 8ish but that didn't last long.

Seems to have been all over the south.
Yesterday evening for half an hour it was just like a fire hose on the front windows. Dreadfully noisy and blowing a gale.
All quiet this am though.
