Hi My BT TV App is not working properly.
It will not play the ordinary channels....BBC 1, 2, 3 ITV etc etc. All I get is the message telling me to turn on my TV Box to view the programme.....not much use.
It does play the BT Sports channels and it does allow me to set up a recording for 'normal' non sport channels.
But, that's it.
I have reinstalled the App to no avail. I have also turned my (Android) tablet off and on again....no change.
I am afraid the BT so-called help online has been sending me round in circles getting nowhere .

I really would like some help with this...but please, not too techie....turning things off and on again is about my limit.

Thanks folks. :-))

You can still watch the Freeview channels on your tablet if you download the BBC'S iPlayer app and all the rest

Thanks, Barry.

Seems to me the BT TV App is just an online Radio Times now.

I don't think it is BTs fault. I suspect the Beeb, ITV etc want people to use their apps and have stopped BT from allowing it's subscribers to access the content through the BT app.
According to the BT link I posted you should still be able watch Alibi, Discovery and many other channels

Thanks, Barry.

I am pretty sure I cannot get Alibi now...it was removed.

and I am sure you are right about the Beeb , ITV etc not allowing BT to show their channels.

Thanks all.
