If I'm feeling down, I tend to buy jewellery that I don't need.
Last night I went online and bought 7 pairs of earrings and 3 necklaces!
A few weeks ago I bought 4 pairs of earrings and I've already got more earrings than you can throw a stick at.
It's only costume jewellery and not expensive, unless you add it all up!.

pasta, I'm the same. Living on my own I eat what I want, how I want and when I want.
There have been a few answers removed over there, glad one of them wasn't you.:-)
JJ is so funny talking to PP, she really cracks me up.
Barsel -I answered your question on the Family Tree Thread x
No, I can’t recall them doing it here, jj, but the US made a similar series a few years ago called Hot in Cleveland with three ladies living together … and Rose from Golden Girls was in it too. Very funny. If you can catch it I think you’ll like it.
I used to love the Golden Girls, Cheers, Taxi, Rosanne etc. For some reason it doesn't appeal to me to watch them again though.
jj & Naomi - The British version was "The Brighton Belles" & it was dire, despite the cast -

go and shop till i drop, it cheers me up no end, then visit the local where i can relax and engage with people -
To the OP - I go internet window shopping for all the things I can't have :-)
I’ve not heard of that, LiK. With that cast it shouldn’t have failed. The plot and script must have been awful.
When I'm feeling down I ring a particular friend and we always find something to laugh at.
I have just realised that to cheer myself up, I do some more work. Which is generally what made me miserable in the first place.
Listen to some of my favourite music. Always works.

your're right - Gawd - it was dire - I recall looking at them "trying to be funny" but all of them were so nervous - they just couldn't do it.
If i am feeling down i go on youtube and watch The Tiger Lillies,
always makes me happy to see them.
My favourite time is when I’m in my garden, which is why I love it so much when it’s sunny, or at least dry enough to go outside.
