That’s really nasty of you to call me one of those ‘beeches’ APG I did not know your history re mil’s and was not taking a jab at you !!!
I would have liked loving in-laws but it wasn't to be. My mother hated my husband and made my life very difficult until her last year's when she turned on me and suddenly decided she liked him!
bobbisox My first post explained that my first husband died. You made a remark on 'how impressive' it was that I had had 3 MiL's. Yu also said in this thread you would not reply to RH with the last breath in your body or words to that effect. Its all there in black and white. Best leave it there.

I’ll apologise to you straight away if I appeared out of order re your husband , I addressed the reason why I ignore RH and feel it’s no one else’s business but hers and mine anyway
Thank you Bobbi. As far as I'm concerned, the matter is closed.
On 3rd marriage and keep in touch with everyone I have known.
I chat quite regularly with my 1st wife who left me 43 years ago, nice lass. 2nd wife died after our divorce but blessed me with 2 daughters and 5 g'kids.

No kids from 1st after 10 years.

I blame that on the water bed we bought to spice up the bedroom, no use, we drifted apart.

You’re crazy , hahaha
Burley - you talk about in-laws but for whatever reason I thought you were single like myself! Still waiting patiently on the shelf LOL - NOT
First m.i.l. Was a wonderful woman, very intelligent, (self taught) creative and larger than life. F I l was a warm and l oving man who treated his stepsons as well as his own. Brothers in law... Didn't know the oldest two very well as they lived abroad, number three was a dreadful flirt, as in he was rubbish at it, and my husband's youngest brother was just a really sweet young man. Partner two had a lovely family, a mix of Polish and Lancashire, and sadly Dave had no surviving family. I was very lucky to share my life with people who had nice families.
My mil died when other half was six so I never knew her. By all accounts she was a lovely lady.
Her husband, my fil, was a nasty piece of work who never wanted a second child (my oh) and let it be known. He and my sil made oh’s life a misery when he was a grieving little boy, he was taunted and beaten.
I was glad when the nasty old man died, we haven’t had anything to do with sil since his funeral 38 years ago.
