Not really a problem,I'm just wondering. I'm listening to a book on my kindle and it's just announced a new chapter. In this case chapter 21 but above it it says chapter 26.
Is there a reason, or is it usual for this to happen?

Both Audible & Kindle tend to treat each indexible section as a chapter, so if a book has an introduction, followed by a prologue (for example), the part titled "Chapter 1" will be treated as chapter 3.
