I clicked on the above and made a post, but it didn't appear in "Latest Posts".

No, after a month it won't come into Latest posts, that's why I've reposted it for you.

If others reply here they'll show in LP otherwise you'll have to keep revisiting the original.

I can watch that camera for ages and end up getting nothing else done :-)
If you scroll down you'll get a synopsis of the weather and it says humidity 9.4%. If that is correct it's really, really dry there!
Question Author
Gosh yes, it isn't dry here just now.
How utterly spooky and I won't ask how come. I wondered why sanmac thanked a ML for resurrecting the thread yesterday. Now know why.
Click and hold on the back-button on your screen then click on "Live Network of Webcams..." and you'll get a list of other cameras around the World.
There's some excavating or similar activity going on around the watering-hole: https://www.earthcam.com/world/botswana/chobe/?cam=campkuzuma
I've just clicked on the link, and all that I saw was a distant excavator doing some - er - excavating. Where are the elephants?
Question Author
I'd guess they've wandered off a bit due to all the activity.
Hmm, big yellow burping, beeping, earth-eating thing go...Elephants come.
The digger has been at work all weekend but it's not clear what it's doing. I wish the resolution was better, there was a group of fast moving mammals on the far side this morning but not clear enough to see, probably some kind of antelope. If you look right now there is an elephant and a giraffe.
It's the first time that I have seen a giraffe there. You're right about the picture quality, perhaps it's just a matter of cleaning the lens since previously the images were much clearer.
I've just replied on the old thread!! Dopey me.
Looked a few minutes ago and counted about 5-6 or more arriving. Digger had disappeared, I think, but a bit hazy.
There are 3 giraffe at the back LB, almost easier to spot their reflection in the water.
It's nine o'clock on a Sunday
Regular crowd shuffles in:)
Thank you Prudie, are they slightly right on centre at the back?
Oops that was wrong!
It's six o'clock on Sunday
Regular crowd shuffles in:)
They were LB although one wandered off to the left. Can't see a thing now, too dark
