Not mine though. OH has gone on his annual holiday on his own. He has gone to Barmouth until Friday.
I felt a bit sorry for him really. The owner of the b& b emailed to say due to covid she wasn't doing breakfast anymore. So he took a few bits with him. When he got to his room there was a big notice saying " no food allowed in rooms at all"
He says he might try and eat secretly or go and sit in his car.

I always enjoy his holidays! I eat what and when I want. It's a total different feeling being on my own now after 30+ years together.
Tonight I had half of a pack of Chinese duck with hoisin and pancakes. I'll have the other half tomorrow. He doesn't like that so I treat myself.

That sounds rather miserable for him, hope he finds somewhere nice to eat out.

Enjoy your break Caran.
Barmouth is getting very laid back these days. Which one's your hubby?

The one with no breakfast.

Spare tyre looks familiar!
Poor man. What a miserable holiday. Just as well he’s not staying long.
LOL @ Caran ;-)

On a more practical note, Barmouth Milk Bar has excellent reviews (on both TripAdvisor and Google) for the quality of its breakfasts. It's on Beach Road, which (unsurprisingly) is the main road leading from the High Street towards the beach:
