The certificate confirming I've had two vaccinations for covid is only valid for 3 months. After that time I suppose I'll have to get another one. Why?

The telephone one is, the hard copy isn’t Sandy, ring 119 they’ll confirm it

AuntPG,
That'll be it.

In the NHS App, your COVID-19 status includes a 2D barcode. The expiry date does not apply to your vaccination status. Any expiry date refers only to the barcode and will update automatically each time you go into the NHS App//
but its easy to replace Sandy just through NI direct

Years ago I had certificates confirming I'd been vaccinated against smallpox and yellow fever. They were just bits of paper.
Those were the days. Technology is too complex for me.
Ask for the letter, no expiry date on it, comes in about 5 days
I think sandy does have paper
Paper certificates are more easily forged.
Why does my Certificate show a 3 Month expiry date?

//There are processes being put in place to automatically refresh the certificates however, there must be a 3-month expiry for security reasons.//
