Looking forward to this drama, a one off set in a care home, Jodie Comer is a brilliant actress, so should be good

Many thanks :-)
It was brilliantly heartbreaking.
Another BAFTA for Jodie on the way, maybe? Must admit, the scenes where she was manically rushing around the care home trying to get help for Kenneth were electrifyingly tense - even though we all probably knew the sad outcome.
Great writing, great acting. I’m sorry I watched it . So sad .
//New Judge, I don't think it's about illness, more about the friendship between a resident (Stephen Graham) and a carer ( Jodie Comer)//

Seems perhaps not entirely:

New Judge, it was me that said that, ooops.
So, not as good as I had hoped it would be, very slow moving and of course I didn't like the ending, I only like happy endings, but the actors were very good which I knew they would be.
I like her, and would like to see it, the last one I remember was with Sheridan Smith. I'll have to wait until on Netflix or Prime...
Pixie, can't you watch it on catch up? It wasn't a film, just a drama on C4.
Thanks barsel x not sure, but I'll have a look. I don't have "normal" tv x
I watched it on catchup this afternoon. Loved it. Two of the very best actors currently working in this country I say.
I think you can watch it on All4 if you can get that. I'll put a link on but don't know if it will work.

I like both actors but I don’t think this is for me. I can do without more illness and misery.
Thanks barsel, it does work x.
I also tend to avoid "busman holiday " programmes, because the cliches tend to get to me. But, did enjoy Derek, and pleased to see Afterlife 3 being filmed now.
Will give it a go x
I agree with Naomi, good actors, but the story wasn't for me, too sad.
Enjoyed this. Cathy Tyson was brilliant.
very good, if not somewhat harrowing at times, the ending was sad and not what i was expecting.
Best drama on TV for ages - brilliant acting.
