Hello, I've been given a prepaid Perx card with the value of £25 on it, I'd like to use it online say with Amazon, the product I want to buy is £50, does Amazon recognise that there is only £25 on it because it has to go through as a debit card or will it say not enough funds? I gave Amazon as an example but would like to use the card in other online stores.

I don't know about the Perx card but I`ve been given a One4All card and the retailer will know how much money is preloaded on it. With my card I can pay the difference if the item is more than the value of the card in store but under the FAQs it says that it won`t be possible to do that online as most online retailers don`t accept multiple forms of payment for one transaction.
It's up to individual retailers as to whether or not they'll accept payments spread across multiple debit/credit cards but many won't. (A Perx card counts as being a MasterCard debit card for such purposes).

Amazon, for example, will let you combine a payment with your Perx card with one from an Amazon Gift Card but you can't pay partly with your Perx card and partly with your regular debit/credit card. (The only way to do so would be to use your usual card to purchase an Amazon Gift Card for yourself and then to use that alongside your Perx card):

PS: Rather than messing about with buying an Amazon Gift Card, the simplest way to end up with an extra £25 to spend online might be to buy £25 pounds worth of your regular groceries in Asda, Tesco or wherever and, instead of paying with your normal debit card, use your Perx card instead. Then you'll have an extra £25 in your bank account to spend online.
