Now is as good a time as any.
I normally have mine late Octoberish.
Flu vaccine is delayed at moment. Tried to do it via Lloyds pharmacy on line. Wouldn't let me put in dob. Rang drs should have been doing it at a church hall on 29th September. Delays.
We have ours booked at the pharmacy attached to our gp surgery on 22nd September.
We've just heard from our surgery and have booked ours for next week
Age uk say best to have it as soon as possible.
We had ours on 14th September last year, could have had it same date this year but we’re away.
Trouble is they have to guess which flu variant we are more likely to get in order to make the most effective vaccine. Sometimes they guess wrong.
Not heard from my GP yet but will get it when available.
My sisters just had hers cancelled due to a shortage of vaccine and been told it will be the end of oct now.I have mine booked at Boots next month but will see if it goes ahead.I like to get mine as soon as i can due to asthma etc.
Mine was booked for the 18th of september. Doctors contacted me a couple of days ago to tell me there is a delay due to shortage of vaccine. It is now booked for the 9th of October.
I'm leaving it three weeks, had the first call....
Reading my newspaper it said the best time is November because it may lose its effectiveness after a time.

Just had it about an hour ago
Went to same pharmacy I had my C19 jabs
I was really hoping I’d have to pay as I thought it would help NHS but another freebie. I wouldn’t mind paying just as I think it should totally free for those that can’t
My understanding is that the flu is a never ending cycle but you have to start somewhere so in a given period it starts in the Australian winter and heads across the globe, reaching the UK in our winter before going back to Australia for their winter.
Is flu out there anywhere in the world at present?
As Davebro says how can you decide what to put in the mixture this year? That being the case you might end up getting something that would give no protection against this winter's variant -if it ever shows up.
Surgery rang about a month ago but I never have it.
