Ummmm's Funeral Day

It's probably not my place to organise this, but just a thought: On the day of Ummmm's funeral it would be nice to have a dedicated thread (pinned) so folks could pay their respects.

Perhaps one of her 'off-line' friends would be prepared to start it? If not I will, which will probably make Ummmm fall off her cloud with laughter . so best someone else takes the lead? :-)

I think that is a lovely idea APG. I wont be around to start it though or join in, because I am attending - I know there are others going too.

I also think she would be falling off her cloud laughing. In fact she has probably already fallen off it given her propensity to injure herself in an empty room.

I like that suggestion, AuntPG, and would welcome the opportunity to say a prayer for ummmm at the funeral time. I think she deserves no less, and why should she not have a laugh at her send off? Go for it, APG.

I know 3 other current, or former, ABers who will be attending ummmm's funeral, as will I.

Are there any others of you who will be joining, or would like to join, us in wishing her a final goodbye?
As I will be travelling down on Thursday night and as a former long-time resident of Northampton I will be happy to meet and greet and direct you where required.

Ok I will open the Thread Friday Morning about 9 am in Chatterbank. I would appreciate suggestions for the Title, I thought of a simple 'Goodbye Ummmmm' but I'm sure someone can think of something better. Hopefully a mod or the Ed can make it 'sticky' for the day.

I think that title is perfect, and the whole idea is lovely.
I’m not given to sentimentality but always thought I’d have liked to have met Ummmm and have been surprised how much I’ve missed her, to the point of not really enjoying reading or contributing to AB as it reminds me that she’s gone.
