We're having a BBQ.

Marinated salmon, Tikka King prawn skewers, sweet chilli pork belly slices and whatever else he unearths at the supermarket.

I'm so looking forward to a nice chilled Viognier - my first this week.

What about you gastronomes?

What's wrong with runner beans? They are delicious, as is every other kind of bean.
as long as they aren't over-cooked, Jackdaw....!
Pancakes and sausages with Aunt Jemima syrup followed by apple pie with ice-cream followed by a can of Faxe beer.
Been out with my in laws and I had ARRABBIATA with Penne and extra chilli sauce , was delicious
by a can of Faxe beer.

A nice drink that, sanmac. What colour can is it ?, I like the Black cans (10 % ).

Daughter and her partner and I met old friend of hers at Wagamama.
I had grilled skewered prawns, then a creamy coconut based prawn curry. DD and I shared 2 puddings...a caramel and ginger cheese cake, and a smoked chocolate cake with salted caramel, ganache and vanilla ice cream.
DD will be hungry again soon...shes a bottomless pit. :)
I've just finished my dinner, which was a baked swordfish steak accompanied by a well-buttered jacket potato, followed by a large portion of pineapple pieces (to finish the can up) with plenty of Cornish dairy ice cream. Yummy!

I got another swordfish steak from Morrison's too (the pack of 2 was reduced from £7.00 to £2.10), so I've got some happy cats tonight ;-)
That's the one, tonyav, at $3.70 per can. Have no idea what that is in pounds, shillings. and pence:)
I pay £2.35p a can, sanmac.
Most Brits don't know about values in pounds, shillings and pence, Sanmac, as we abandoned that monetary system 50 years ago ;-)

(Can$3.70 = £2.13 at current exchange rates).
So mine is slightly cheaper at 2 pounds and 13 pence...Good stuff.
Cross posted, Buenchico. Yep, I knew all about the change over:)
Summat wrong here, how come the Canuks get it cheaper.
It's all to do with Brexit, lorry-drivers, and empty shelves:):)
Blimey !, I thought you had turned into gulliver then, sanmac ;-)
Ha!...You caught on:)
