If I wanted to get Sky Sports for a family member to watch on SkyGo, would I be able to do this and then remove it when the football season is over? Thought I'd ask here before contacting Sky.

I’d imagine you’d have to take a year’s contract minimum.
Can you just have sky go without a dish? You didn’t used to.
If I’ve understood correctly.
Sky Go lets you watch Sky on your PC, tablet or phone so you don't need a Sky dish, ich.

Tigger, your relative might be better off with Now TV which gives access to Sky Sports on a rolling monthly contract

I'm not sure how it works tbh, Ich. The family member who is asking lives miles away and can access my Sky through their XBox.
No you don’t need a dish to actually use it it course: it’s a streaming service: what I meant was I don’t think you can have it unless you are a sky customer with a dish.
But I don’t fully understand what the OP wants
If they are already accessing your Sky then there should be no problem with them accessing your subscription to Sky Sports. It will cost you £25 a month and is a 12-month contract but speak to Sky and see if you can get a deal.
Ich, the OP wants a family member who does not live with her to be able to watch Sky Sports through her subscription - so the family member watches it for free.
Yes Now TV is an option.
However, I think tigger wants to subscribe to Sky sports and then let someone else use Sky go to access it.
Strictly speaking Sky don’t like you doing that: but whether they could stop you I’m not sure. You are limited to I think it’s four devices. Not sure how clever they how are at spotting where people are letting non subscribers use the service
Question Author
They checked the cost of adding Sky Sports and it was £18 which they will pay me for each month.
Do you have sky go already?
The limit is six devices.
tigger, I think £18 is for new customers - you must check how much Sky will charge you
Question Author
Yes, I Ich. I recently renewed my subscription and upgraded to SkyQ with SkyGo.
Just checked and it is £18 for football only
Question Author
They just want to watch premiership games.

Thanks Barry, that's really helpful :o)
When I want to watch the IPL, I sign on to the Sky Cricket channel. Then, as long as I give 31 days notice, I can cancel it. So I only put it on for as long as I want. Am thinking of doing this when the tournament returns and keeping it for the 20/20 World Cup. I always say I only want it for a specific tournament and it is put on for the year, with the 31 day cancellation clause. I am a long term Sky customer and have a basic package, so this is only a top up. I always do it by phone and, despite their dire warnings of long delays, always get through quite quickly. I always find them very helpful, so good luck tigger.
