no - don't buy them - they are crap
I bought them with my prescription and within a week they broke in half.
JJ, that was your experience but it doesn't mean the same will happen to someone else's, does it?

I don't think I've seen that abbreviation Bednobs, perhaps ask the company.

Lol I didn't actually ask for an opinion on glasses from online opticians I asked a q about prescriptions. However it doesn't mean I reject opinions. I agree it's a consideration jj, but ivhada free trial of the frames and the seem robust

As far as I can see, BEDNOBS is wanting specific technical information in order to buy glasses online and not asking for anyone's opinion, let alone yours in particular.



My 'phone was playing up and your post wasn't there when I started my reply.
I don't know about varifocals but on my bifocal prescriptions the LD (long distance) figure is the main one at the top with the adjustment for bifocal vision indicated underneath by + or -.
That makes sense Jack, well done.

No wonder I have never seen it being extremely shortsighted.
