Problem Taping A Film.

When taping a film on TV we put in the correct length of time, but it stops taping well before the end..does anyone know why this happens please?

As I've said it's this 1 film stopping recording after 38 mins on dvd recorder

No, wrayperson, you didn't say "DVD recorder"...you said "video recorder" and said "taping"...so we are all wasting our time...

Without doing the calculations it could be that, if you are recording in HD, the disc is full after 38 minutes.
