When I call commercial numbers I often hear the call is being recorded for training purposes.
What do I need to record calls from my domestic telephone so that I can review what has been said from both parties.

Be sure to tell your caller that the call is being recorded if you intend to use it as evidence.

And those calls are never recorded for training purposes - it is to stop the caller being abusive.

I've worked in Call Centres and they are used for training purposes/for evidence of misleading information/to deter abusive callers :) So there is a use for them...Although not all calls are recorded due to budget restrictions.
People who work in Call Centres are made to listen to their own calls for training purposes and the good & bad bits are highlighted. Their calls are also scored and if that's consistently low in any are then they get, yep - you've guessed it - training.

Why is it that everything's a conspiracy on here?
