No, and they are only allowed to mention sponsors up to 3 times.
It undoubtedly helps either way but at the end of the day it is gambling so I surmise in the current snowflake climate it could be a thorny issue
I would imagine that without the sponsorship from the lottery, many of our athletes would have struggled to be in Tokyo. They therefore have every reason to be thankful.

The National Lottery helps to fund athletics, with the percentage of Lottery revenue given to sport in general defined in legislation but it's not a sponsor.

First one for months. Let's hope the floodgates have opened.
Beth Shriever didn't get any funding from UK Sport at all, and only some from the cycling body, so she had to crowdfund. She got a gold but I imagine her list of supporters was too long to mention
