Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I am not writing the preamble to this special crossword. It's too big. So pardon me
I cannot figure out anything here.
Please give me some hints
I only have answers to 13d,23d,27d.

This should help.
Substitution of paired words is involved before entry of the solutions into the grid. ( e.g one and all: one is substituted with all in the solution). Synonym for the 'paired words' is hidden somewhere in the set of clues. example one and all = 'everybody' is hidden in the clue 4 down

so as an example in one of them you swop a B for a Q (the pair is B&Q). Far to mind blowing for me

The clue for 13 has two superfluous words at the start - after that it's a straight clue (taking the initial letters and scrambling them to give a country/'land') so your entry is the same as your answer.
23d and 27d are both straight clues and can be entered without changes.

The two words taken from 13 are associated with the entry at 26d - the initial answer to 26d is CUTE (C+UTE = a 'pickup'/vehicle in Australia). You need a phrase (CUT and ???) that means the same as the two words from 13 - now swap the words to get the entry for 26d - ???E.
