I sincerely hope not!

We've got enough problems with over-population already, without adding to them through people living eternally (or, at least, a lot longer).

Further, if people start living a lot longer, either they'll all have to work a lot longer (or, if life becomes eternal, infinitely) or those who are still working will have to give up nearly all of their incomes to pay for those who're retired.
If you stopped ageing at the age of perhaps 10 Buenchico then the birth rate would fall to near zero as nearly no-one could reproduce so over popullation would'nt be the problem.
So salty it depends what you mean by stop ageing. At what point?

Heaven seems to cope ;-D
So does Hades!

Covid would seem to be one solution.
It would be good if scientists could find a solution to stop us looking old, so less wrinkles, hair not turning grey or falling out, teeth not falling out, lips not going thinner, eyes that stay bright and boobs that don't droop.
