Daily case rate slightly down, daily case rate slightly up, 30 more than yesterday, but 100 less than last month on the same day. But 2000 up on this time six months ago, 20 more people in hospital on the same day 3 weeks ago, but 25 less than 4 weeks ago. Testing is down on last week, but kids are on holiday, but still up on 12 months ago. How much longer is this rubbish going to continue. And it seems now people are refusing to go back to work, well if you've been getting paid to stop at home, what did they expect.

Just out of interest, if we have a large amount of people catching flu in the winter, are people going to refuse to go to work, in case they catch it themselves, and will government pay them? Its about time all this crap came to a stop.

People will catch covid, people will die, the same as they will catch or be unlucky enough to get a life threatening illness of any kind and die. I say again' we have done all we can to bring this new virus under some sort of control, that we had to do because we didn't know anything about it, we do now, and we have a vaccine to fight it. We have been told time and time again on many occasions that the vaccine can be tweaked to fight different variants, so get on and tweak them so we can get on with living.

As NJ has stated along with others, companies are using covid has an excuse to avoid doing their job correctly, along with many using it not to go back to work. Its not covid that's killing us now, we are killing ourselves if the country don't return to work.

Doctors surgeries are a disgrace in many areas, they have found the perfect excuse not to see people, and they wish to continue in that way, if anyone is putting the NHS hospitals under pressure its them, with people turning up at A&E, when it could have been avoided. Dentists found the perfect excuse to inflate their already inflated charges, and more and more companies that you deal with just email you with what they will be charging you, what you will or won't get and when, and then just add that this is a none reply email, as we are very busy, due to our customer services being disrupted through covid. What a load of tosh.

I just love you people (seven) give me evidence, give me a link, open your eyes and ears. Thousands and thousands of people getting pinged to self isolate, I bet they can't wait for that ping. All they have to do is delete it, because the so called pinging could go on for the next 50 years. Get vaccinated and go back to work, and take you chances the same with any virus. There is not enough cotton wool to wrap everyone up in, and even if there was it not going to make any difference whatsoever.
