It could be argued that there isn't enough sport on BBC. Other than MOTD, i cannot think of any sports programme that is broadcast on a weekly basis. Approx 90 mins of sport per week is hardly 'bang for one's buck' to a licence payer who does like quite a few sports.
Eurosport have had problems with their commentaries.
I’ve watch silent table tennis, and a women’s softball match between Mexico and Canada which had a description of the women’s canoeing slalom in the background. It took several minutes of confusion for me to realise this.
Always worth pointing out that a TV licence doesn’t just cover BBC, although of course it’s what funds the BBC.
I agree that normally there’s not a massive amount of sport on BBC.
It tends when it does happen to come like flash floods.
For those who are fed up of sport on bbc. Why not just spend hours per day on AB ?
Discovery bought up the rights (they're part of AT&T, along with CNN and Warner Brothers film studio). So the BBC are actually broadcasting much less than heretofore.

Ken, the BBC are broadcasting live cricket, or a sort. I keep meaning to watch some.
There are plenty of other channels not showing the Olympics.
No.
I've managed to work round it and I know many love it.

Plenty other things to watch and do.
Of course there's too much sport, it takes precedence over everything and listings get changed repeatedly. I personally find ALL sport dull and boring, but thankfully we have lots of channels to choose from these days. We should have channels just dedicated to sport, oh wait we do, the BBC lol.
Shirley, :o)
Yes there is too much sport at the moment on the BBC but you don't have to watch it. For the first time in my life I am totally disinterested in the Olympics.
No, there isn't enough. There should be more options on the red button. According to Wiki, the Beeb had 24 red button streams for the 2012 games and eight for 2016. I think there is just one red button channel for these games.
The reason for that was discussed above
No I'm enjoying it. Most people on AB claim to hate the BBC anyway, so this shouldn't bother them as they're watching something else anyway.
