Sorry I haven't got a link. I heard on the radio and BBC telly that TR has been judged on the wrong side in a court case against him for falsely accusing a teenager (who was filmed being beaten by school 'chums') of attacking young women, and that he has to pay £100,000 penalty, plus legal costs. I'm surprised that TUS haven't been on here defending him. He seems to be pleading bankruptcy and saying that he's had a bad year. Are there many here who feel sorry for him?

naomi - // AH, your perception is at fault but I’m not getting into it with you again. We’ve been there and done that repeatedly. //

Since you know about this, as I do, from the media, then both are views can only be a matter of our individual perception.

Unlike you, I accept that your perception may be different from mine, which is not the same as saying that mine is right and yours is wrong - that would be rude, unfounded, and arrogant, so i would not suggest it.

I did offer you a chance to discuss your perception, you prefer not to which is fine, but please don't run away with the idea that your refusal to debate gives you the moral high ground and makes you right simply because you say so.

It doesn't work like that - and you know it doesn't, because quite rightly, it wouldn't work if I tried that sort of line with you.
naomi - // AH, you KNOW differently? How? //

Once again, I have no idea what you are talking about, but since you are raising your drawbridge against any sort of exchange, I doubt you will be clarifying, which will suit both of us.
AH, will you please stop telling me how things work or otherwise.
You make a habit if that - and you’re so very often wrong.

And my information is not gained solely from the media. Yet another of your mistakes.
Mozz at 17.10. You’re mistaken. The crimes of Muslim gangs bear no similarity to those of the Catholic Church.
Not the crimes themselves Naomi, but the role of religion in those crimes. I don't believe that either the Bible or the Qur'an state that those crimes are acceptable, so it must be down to the individual perpetrators and not their religious beliefs.
Mozz, you’d be surprised at what the Koran deems acceptable. Perhaps you should do some research. No religion on earth compares to Islam. Really.
Well, I haven't, nor have any intention of reading the Qur'an (or the Bible for that matter), so I will leave the discussion there with a sense of disbelief, but insufficient knowledge to debate further.
Okay. Thanks for the discussion.
The Bible is a mere fairy-tale; however, the Koran is a veritable instruction, or more precisely, destruction manual.
Mozz @ 17.10. Your second paragraph is spot on.
You'd only have to look at what has come to light in the past two weeks to know that even if you weren't familiar with the history.
NAOMI - // Mozz, you’d be surprised at what the Koran deems acceptable. //

You know as well as anyone - better than most according to you - that any religious tome can be interpreted in a zillion different ways to suit the mind and intentions of the reader.

You can make the bible say that you are entitled to kill your children, you can make the Koran say that it's acceptable to rape non-Muslim girls.

Interpretation is everything.
Mozz - // Mozz at 17.10. You’re mistaken. The crimes of Muslim gangs bear no similarity to those of the Catholic Church. //

There you are - that's you told.
It is indeed. Politely though.
Incidentally. Just as Islam can’t be compared with any other religion on earth, the bible can’t be compared with the Koran. See sanmac’s post above.

Where does it say that the biuble and the Koran cannot be compared?

Is that written down somewhere, for me to refer to?

Because if not, I am going to continue to compare them because I choose to do so, and I'm certainly not minded to take your instruction that it can't be done.

After all, you don't like being told how things work, so I am sure you would not wish to be seen to be guilty of doing exaxctly the same a few minutes later - would you.
Your choices are your business.
naomi - // Your choices are your business. //

Indeed they are - and as usual, they demolish your dognmatic unfounded schoolmarm-ish statements.

You spend inordinate amounts of time arguing up hill and down dale about a regular contributor who does exactly the same, thing, and you criticise him for his dogmatic eveidence-lite nonsense.

How ironic that when it comes to Islam, and 'Tommy Robinson', you revert to doing exactly the same thing.
Ooo.... you are a one! :o)))
Think I got off this thread at the right time. ☺
You shouldn't have to though, Mozz...but it happens time and time again.
