Could you wear these? Also, did you wear platforms in the 70s?

I used to wear thick high heeled boots but could never wear stilettos.

Absolutely ridiculous what some ladies will do in the name of fashion.
Nice typo, Tiggs.

Although, 9" heals would probably appeal to Sqad ;o)

Oops! Ha
it's not just about fashion, it's about height. I'd be scared of wearing those ones without a safety net, but most women have shoes or heels that add an inch or two.
Oh yes winkle pickers with 3" heels and platform shoes in my youth. I fell off a pair of platforms outside the office of our Managing Director just as he came out - he picked me up and said "my daughter wears stupid shoes like yours"
She wears them for shock value, just like the meat dress/coat thing.

I had some platforms in the 70's. Two tone with crepe on the outside of the soles.
Sqad's just told the world he's got small feet . . .

i wore platforms and 3inch stillettos if boyfriend was tall but if it would make me taller i would wear lower heels ,luckily mr mally towers over me,can't wear high heels now though so its flip flops and flats
I'd break my neck in them.

I have got a pair of 6 inch heeled platform boots. I wore them once and nearly killed myself.
No way could I wear these ! When I was younger, I wore high heels all the time and platforms in the 70's, but NEVER that high ! Flats all the way now, for comfort ....
I used to wear 4 inch high stilettos when I was a teenager. My mother told me that I would ruin my feet, and she was right. I wear flat shoes these days
Wore platform shoes on a day trip to London from Manchester on the train in the 1975 with my five year old daughter whilst 5 months pregnant with my son! What was I thinking? Though I managed all day and feet were fine, I must have been mad!
Two years ago I wore 4 inch heels to my nephews wedding and pulled all the ligaments in my knees! I never learn!
Avoiding Builder's smutty innuendo (LOL), I will offer "9 Inch Heals ... the world's smallest furniture store"
I've never been good in high heels...my ankles 'give way and I look drunk.
But in the late 60s-early 70s I lived in Buffolo platform sandals. I was distraught when they disappeared from the shops. I also wore clunky platform heals.
I couldn't wear these now...wish I could.

9 inches? Are they classed as boots or stilts?
I would never wear such ugly shoes. Awful.
I loved platforms in the 70s! I even got married in purple platform boots! They made me over 6 ft. Great!!!
Never wore stilletos though. Platforms were easy to walk in. Was barefoot for most of my younger life.
Love those Sandals Pasta. Nowadays I have to wear sensible footwear. Mostly skechers!
