This is the village one Bobb, do you think it’s early?
I recall gov was pushing for early start. Maybe it takes a few weeks to work. Should last beyond winter
Why didn't you ask them when they phoned you Bobbs ? It seems too early to me ...
Question Author
They phoned my Friend and asked her if it was me as we both went together last year, she took the call and they gave her our appointment 15 mins apart
You could always ring them up and check.
Question Author
Nah, I’ll probably just roll with it to be honest Shirley
Ok, so why did you post lol ....

Why not? :0))))
Maybe just a tad bored this evening :0))
Didn't I hear a suggestion that they might try to do a booster covid jab at the same time as the flu jab?
It was going to be one in each shoulder.
Question Author
I’ve hear it mentioned Hoppy but this one is just the flu jab
Yes, I don't suppose they have a covid booster yet. It will need tweaking for the variants.
Question Author
Yes I’m sure it will! perhaps that’s why they’re yre rolling out the flu vaccine a bit earlier?
I had mine on 14th September last year, I remember the date as it’s a family members birthday.
Had it done at the local pharmacy, pharmacist said we were the first.
So no, it’s not early this year.
Question Author
Thanks Vagus, I can’t remember when I had mine, just thought it was a bit later
September's normal, or did you mean they were setting a date early? I doubt they've even got the vaccien sorted out yet.
Good to hear your practice is up to speed.

I expect I will have to chase mine up, just like I had to with both Covid jabs. To add insult to injury I had to listen to a pre-recorded intro saying (more or less) "Don't call us, we'll call you". On the first occasion they'd moved on to second jabs and couldn't accommodate me for a couple of weeks, on the second occasion they'd finished Covid-jabbing altogether and sent me to a remote Centre. [end of rant, and I'm sure you'd make an attractive pin-cushion :-) ]
