Spotted that this is now on iPlayer.

But for all true Discworld fans don't get too excited.

I knew from the reviews in Discworld Monthly not to expect a true to the books adaptation.

All I can say is "What the!! Excuse my Klatchian!"

Ook. Ta for the heads-up, Tuvok :-)
That bad huh!
thanks - just started it, i like it so far!
i saw in an online post somewhere (can't remember where) that this series bears as much relationship to the Discworld genre as a cricketer dressed in a yellow plastic mac is to being called "Batman".
well not really true. it draws its inspiration from the books. also, patrician as a woman is ok. cheery as a man is ok and goodness me, both vimes and angua - yum
I won't be watching it, I have such clear images in my mind as to how the characters should be that I will spend my time throwing things at the tv shouting they have got that wrong
hmmm, but they are gorgeous :)
Question Author
I like the actor playing Vimes - some of the expressions he can do with his face!!!

But he is not Vimes!!!

Years ago I went to a professional production of Guards! Guards! Paul Darrow (Avon from Blakes 7 was Vimes) Guess what I found on YouTube yesterday!!!!

im 2 episodes thru and like it a lot. it really isnt the same as the novels but yo can treat it as something different
Bored last night, thought I would try it
Casting was a bit odd, some gender differences, but I tried to see it as something other than a book I had read, just as itself. It was actually pretty good, and I binge watched the whole series.
