I am trying to value some postcards from Russia. Half of them have an English translation so they are okay.

But there is a pack/set of 18 where I do not understand any of the words.

Can anybody help? Something to help me to find a similar pack online. I have scanned the text from three of the cards and also the envelope-thingy that they come in.

Thanks for that - that should be enough. What a horrible language - but it looks pretty.
Sorry, the technology doesn't seem to be up to translating what's on the picture postcard, although even I (with no knowledge of Russian at all) can spot the word 'Moscow' at the top left ;-)

Moscow was as far as I got.

I will try and use the info that you have given on the images. Where did you find the images?
The title at the top left of the picture postcard is 'Historical Moscow'.
I used the Windows snipping tool to separate each of the cards into separate images.

Then I uploaded each of those images in turn to this online Cyrillic optical character recognition service:

I then copied the extracted text, bunged it into Google Translate and used the Snipping Tool again to copy the translations and produce the images that I uploaded to ImgBB.

I've bookmarked your Cyrillic thingy for future use.

With your patience and help, I found the item that I was looking for. https://www.livemaster.ru/item/38714202-vintazh-otkrytki-vintazhnye-moskovskie-ulitsy

To celebrate I have just had a tin of Skinless and boneless Salmon in Teryaki sauce. Yummy!
Well done with that find! (I had a quick look myself but couldn't find anything similar).

If you're celebrating with food, I feel entitled to my own little celebration too, by opening some beer. (It'll be the first for nearly a fortnight - I'm not a total drunkard!)

I cheated and did a reverse image search with the help of Uncle Google.
Enjoy your drink.
Now why didn't I think of that???

Храм Христа Спасителя - Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.
Question Author
JD, did you know that?

I'm not good with languages but usually, with the help of Google, I manage. Cyrillic letters are not very user friendly.

Night night gentlemen. X
Yes, I read Russian at university.
Once learnt, the Cyrillic alphabet is very user-friendly. You can learn it in less than a day. If I am given a piece of Russian to read in Roman characters I actually struggle and have to sound out each word aloud.

I never went to university so humour me. Was Russian your main topic or just an addition to your main subject?

My brother did History and Politics but these subjects are intertwined. He is now a computer person/programmer or whatever.
