Warner Leisure Hotel Breaks
Anyone on here had experience of Warner Leisure hotel breaks, and if so what I you think? Anything to be wary of before booking?

We've had many breaks at Warners, most have been fabulous but we won't be going back. The last two or three breaks (pre-Covid) were not enjoyable.
At every location they have built more and more annexes for bedrooms. This means less gardens to enjoy because of course every bedroom needs a car parking space as well as the land for the annexes; more people in the restaurant means tables are smaller and packed too close together; more people queuing at the buffet makes for a long, unpleasant wait; long queues at bar and long waits for table service; activities get fully booked quickly so a lot of people miss out; too many people at the activities so you only get a limited turn if you are able to book; more people in the cabaret makes for a very cramped, overheated claustrophobic experience.
The food quality has declined, it is obvious far more food is bought in pre-prepared. For example, the lunch menu had prawn and avocado sandwich. I asked for a prawn sandwich without the avocado - couldn't be done, it comes ready mixed.
Apart from Studley Hotel if you go Monday - Friday the hotel guests are mostly 60+, so be prepared for lots of mobility scooters in the corridors especially outside the restaurant. Weekend breaks cater for a 'younger' crowd - 40+ with a few hen parties of mixed ages.
Studley Hotel is firmly aimed at the younger market, 30+.
Food is average, mostly, sometimes very good. The swimming pools are very good, some of the gyms are okay. The beds are good quality and comfortable, the rooms are nice.
