He banned fox-hunting with hounds in Germany, a law which still stands today.
But that doesn't quite cancel out the bad things :0)

If anyone on AB regularly insults you, that's their look-out. I was just making an observation. If that touched a nerve, I withdraw the question.

But honestly - the rhyming slang/in-jokes/abbreviations don't come across well.

Take for instance T.R.O.B. There literally no reason to make that phrase an acronym.

Also (if I remember correctly TFOJ). If part of your audience needs a translator it detracts from what you have to say.

But IYC

Do you believe he said it ToraToraTora?
TTT

Both yes and no.

I can imagine him saying it and I can imagine it being made up because it *sounds* like something he might say.

If there were a tape of him saying it, I can imagine alot of people shrugging and saying, “Yeah, that figures”.

I don’t think it matters anymore. If he were still President and a tape of this alleged conversation were released just before a state visit to Israel, that would be a different story.
Sorry - that was to Untitled
Saying Hitler did alot of good is like saying ...errrm...nope sorry, I can't think of anything as monumentally stupid to compare it with, except perhaps Abbott's Mao quote.
