Email From Yahoo, But Titled Account

I have just received an email purportedly from yahoo to say they have amalgamating with AOL and front a new service called Oath. It is saying that unless I click on a link, all my email will be deleted and my account will cease. This sounds like a scam to me as the email was titled A rather than Y.
Any advice will be welcome. Thank you.

Scam. An old one at that. They merged in 2017 I think.
