Best variety of potatoes for Baking?

Some times you get baked potatoes which are really nice & creamy, without having to put a lot of stuff on them, and others are just awful - so must be stardh or water content I suppose

Maris Piper are good, as are King Edwards and Marfona. If you google `baked potatoes` you`ll come up with some very useful info on the first page.
marfona are the best baking potatoes. maks sell them but they do work out at about 75 pence each but i've just dicovered my local greengrocer gets them. they are delicious and do not need butter.
