I'm not going to question the reasons for having an affair. What I do question is his lack of judgement...passionately snogging his mistress in a hallway covered by probably numerous cctv cameras. Why? What was he thinking? Add that to apparent double standards, do as I say, not as I do...and I come to the conclusion that if Mrs Hancock is waiting with frying pan at the ready...good for her!
//Very stupid man. If I were Mrs H I’d change the locks.//

I misread that last word as beginning with change the c..ks..... Specsavers here I come, on the NHS.
DTC //change the c..ks..... // is precisely what his aide did

17.29 naomi An unhappy marriage don't give him the right to give friends and mates jobs payed for by the tax payer. And you do have to be squeaky clean when you are part of government and dictating to the public what they can and can't do. Next excuse? As for Boris, sloppy, idle, and spineless to do the right thing, that's even if he knows or cares what the right thing to do is
Boris sloppy and idle?

I'd have hated to have seen how Cobnoxious or Sir Smarmy would have sailed us through these troubled waters.

Why bring Corbyn and SKS into the argument? Deflection isn't a valid argument.
Didn’t look like a cautious hug to me
Ken, your interpretation skills could use a little fine tuning. There was no attempt at deflection.

Let me put this another way. There was no way we were going to get through this unprecedented historical event unscathed but Boris is infinitely more competent than the alternatives. Who in their right mind would want to keep making decisions that affect every single person up and down the land when opinions are so divided? And the poor man has had to make these decisions whilst fighting off the loonies in Europe.

Good lord, if Agent Cob had been in No 10 he'd have vaccinated Hamas, Hezbollah and the third world before any of us. As it is our vaccine rollout has been exemplary. Cheers, Boris!
Ladycg - are you saying there is no-one in the Tory party more capable than Boris of running the country? If so, we really are in trouble.
No I'm not saying that, but he's done a fairly good job under the weight of unimaginable strain. He might not be everyone's cup of tea but he's stood up to the bullies of Europe and he's got the country vaccinated against this awful virus.

Make no mistake neither Boris or Matt Hancock have so far got us through this pandemic people with a lot lot more brains than the two of them put together have, the scientists with their advice, and the making of the vaccine. The only thing Boris and the rest of his government / hangers on have achieved ( especially ) Matt Hancock and Cummings is a total disregard for morals and values, and their own laws.
