This morning I came across the news headline "Exuberance Gives Way to Bitter Reality".
What's this about I asked myself - is it Brexit ? - is it Boris as PM? - is it Lockdown extension? - is it the Tory Government? - is it Keir's Appointment? - all prime candidates IMO.
No, it's Scotland Football.
Gave me a chuckle :-)
But it's surprising to consider how many aspects of the human condition it could apply to - even as far back as "Blair's Brave New Millennium" or further back still. Not to mention the ubiquitous "Football's Coming Home" LOL.
