Has anyone had a text from them saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel and would redeliver today, asking for a service charge of £1-45 and card details to pay it?
I can’t think of anything I’ve ordered of later and I do know that Amazon often use them, concerned about the ‘ service charge and card bit though, I’ve never heard of that , have you ?

its a scam,
don't give them your card details whatever you do. The post office ones have proved to be scams,
Definite scam. Hermes never ask for payment for redelivery
It's a scam. My mum got one a few days ago as she ordered something. She checked with the retailer and they said they don't use her hermes.

All texts asking for payment or personal details are scams.

Clover, I checked Amazon to see if I had a delivery pending and I didn’t , theses scammers are so realistic in what they do
Its a scam, as are the texts from Royal Mail on the same subject.

I knew of the RM one roo,but not this one
Well known scam, they sometimes take alot more than 1.45 and some ring up shortly after pretending to be from your bank/credit card saying theres been a fraud and asking you to transfer all your bank account to a safe account.
But why would anyone after pay for a redelivery anyway. They never charge do they for redeliverys. Even if it wasnt a scam why pay, theyll just redeliver or return , its not your problem. or you can just track it

Thank you Bob
I've posted twice about it last month. You've got to keep up to date Bobbi...read the scam posts on here. And assume these texts are always scams.
Hermes will email you with updates on deliveries.
Hi Bobbi,

It's one of the most common scams doing the rounds at the moment. Make sure you block the number on your phone.
