yeah I thought that

however sqad in another thread has pointed out the difficulties if the thrombosis is a bleed
( good for one and bad for the other) - a repeat of the 70s ( warfarin didnt work)

They are both NSAIDS (non steroidal anti inflammatories) but I don't think they are chemically related
I keep two strong aspirin in my wallet - just put it under the tongue of someone having an attack and it can help, strokes as well....I also keep two in my golf bag as well - apparently there's quite a lot of attacks out there on the links!
DTC, read my link, sublingual use does naff all and if the stroke is caused by a bleed not a clot, if it does anything, it will make things worse. You'd do better to get the golf carts fitted up with defibs
