A family member is due to have the covid vaccination

If she is taking Clopidogrel and also Atorvastatin , should she stop taking them before having the vaccination ?

she should ask her doctor
No...she should continue taking both.
They don't just give you the jab. I was asked about my meds. Done and dusted in a few minutes. My OH isn't on meds and he was done in seconds.

Do we know anything about this booster I've read about?
the only one they worry about is warfarin apparently
so keep taking the tabs !

and yes they have 6 questions of which no 5 is meds I think
it is very efficient ( compared with other part s of the NHS)

covid - the nepal variant of the indian was found in Portugal which accounted for the rush to quarantine last week. said to be 50% more transmissible which puts the R number well above one

if you look at the graph of cases - there is a deffo upswing in cases, so R is already above one ( by definition)

and so the word on the street is: a) covid will always be with us b) there is likely to be a third dose - tweaked for the major variants
c) 21 Jun - will be delayed

this is of course opinion
