Hi, since last years policy was taken out I have retired so at renewal time (soon) i was going to go for social and pleasure only and skip the commuting, however if i drop my wife at work in the morning and go to somewhere else is that still commuting?

I would consider it to be commuting. You are driving daily in the rush-hour traffic which is what increases the accident risk.

Thanks for the update. Mine went down when I removed commuting but others on here have said it made no difference. Perhaps it depends where you live.
