Let's get to the heart of the matter – why is Israel bombing Palestine and why is Palestine bombing Israel?
Q1. Are the Israelis bombing Palestine because they're Muslims?
A1. No. They are bombing Palestine (or more accurately, Hamas) to defend themselves from rocket attacks.

A2. Yes.
Hamas' stated aim as a political entity is to obliterate the state of Israel from the Earth and with it, every Jewish person on the planet.
Given the above – which is unequivocally, demonstrably and provably true – why would anyone with a moral compass that actually functioned correctly defend the actions of Hamas?

You acknowledge that the Palestinians have been treated awfully, but due to politics believe that israeli occupation should continue... you also support Israel's bombing of Gaza despite acknowledging here that the palestinians have a valid complaint.

There is nothing disproportionate about Israel's response to the terrorist organisation – Hamas – launching tens of thousands of rockets into Israel which are specifically targeted at civilian populations. The Israeli Defence Force [IDF] quite deliberately go out of their way to minimise civilian casualties. They even go so far as to mass telephone apartment blocks, informing the residents that because a rocket attack has been launched from there, they will be bombed to take out said rocket site in a number of hours. This gives the citizenry a chance to vacate the target area prior to an IDF air-strike. Make no mistake – Hamas do not reciprocate; they specifically target civilians to try and maximise Jewish casualties.
Why? Because they're Jews. Anti-Semitism is encoded into Islam. It permeates every page of the Koran. If you doubt this, read it. I have. It's in black and white, hiding in plain sight.
Hamas' stated aim is to eradicate the Jewish state of Israel and eliminate every Jew from the world. That's their goal. They don't care about the land – that's a smokescreen to hide their rampant Jew hatred.
If you doubt this, consider the fact that over a million Uyghur muslims are currently being held in labour camps in Xingjang Province in China. Muslim women are systematically raped, sterilised, tortured and killed. Muslim men are similarly tortured and killed. And all we hear about the Uyghur's is.... crickets; nothing to see here, move along....
Which tells you everything you need to know about the “outrage” from muslims protesting about Israel. It's nothing more than anti-Semitism masquerading as a human rights issue.

But there is. In response to a rocket fired on the 15th April which landed harmlessly in an empty field, Israel have killed hundreds of people, demolished thousands of buildings and cause $ millions in damage. That is NOT proportionate.

Admittedly that is 2,500 too many, but lying about the number just means you are distorting the facts. And targeted is a bit of a misnomer. They don’t have a sophisticated guidance system they are point-and-shoot which is why they cause little damage.
I am sure the Palestinian Muslims hate Israel. But it is not blind anti semitism and hatred of Jews. The fact they have had their land, country, religion and culture supplanted by European migrants is their main grudge.

1. In the latest conflict lasting around one week, Hamas have launched approx. 35,000 rockets into Israel, indiscriminately targeting civilians.
2. You're right in saying that Hamas don't have the technology to specifically target strategic installations – so they indiscriminately fire them into generally populated areas;

They have been Jewish lands for centuries. Going back to Egyptian times (circa, 2500 BC), they were Jewish lands. But because Mohammed and his motley crew of murderers and thieves stole those Jewish lands at the point of a sword in circa 800 AD, the Islamic world now think that those lands are theirs in-perpetuity.
