Matakari, like many of the perimeter puzzles you have seen over the last decade, some sections will have words/likely-looking words appearing. Have a good stare!

Many thanks, NACW! Yes, it's a delight now to go after the description and the author! I'll let you know when the pin drops!
What's the reason for your Billie please matakar
Sorry seen ptofs billow now which is the obvious answer to me. Was just intrigued as billie isn't aword is it
Question Author
Bobbinwales, pease disregard my "Billie", it was a week attempt, indeed!

The pin has dropped! I've got the author, the quote and the
appropriate unclued light. I'll put this down now until tomorrow when I read over and seek parsing for three answers.
Matakari, the pin? Maybe you've got your 'the penny has dropped' and 'so quiet you could hear a pin drop' confused? Glad we got you over the finishing line!

PS The parsing will, I'm sure, be well within your capabilities - you're a seasoned solver.
Question Author
Thanks, NACW, I like the humorous way you corrected my
"pin" for "penny" mistake. Thanks also for your confidence in my parsing capabilities! Cheers!
Matakari, thanks for that. You'd mentioned 'the pin' twice, so I decided not to ignore it. Yes, I think I sometimes have more faith in you than you do - I've seen you doubting perfectly valid answers, those you have got yourself!
