Weird Ear Pain When Dyeing Hair?!

Here’s something I’ve noticed and I wonder whether anyone else has. When I am dyeing my hair and applying the dye, I very often get a pain around the back and sides of both ears- like an ache- if I am wearing my glasses. If I take my glasses off, the pain goes away but I can’t see what I’m doing. This only seems to happen when I’m dyeing my hair. Has anyone else had this?

Are your glasses metallic? Metal can react with the developer. Not sure whether this would cause pain however.

Interesting idea, they are metallic, but I get a similar sort of pain when wearing glasses and my mask. It’s really weird.

Well, which is it ?
Patieny; "Doctor, doctor, i get a pain in my neck every time i raise my left arm."
Doctor; "Stop raising your left arm, then."
Substitute 'dyeing your hair' for 'raising your arm' and everything should be okay:-)
Ken :D

Bear with me OP - this is a bit out there - it might be something to do with your glasses.
