Lord Glitters is an old favourite of mine so I've bet him to finish 3rd@11/1. If it finishes 2nd I shall jump out of this window.
I see Broken Spear is out again, 2.45 Thirsk. Might have a small bet at 7/1.
Put a fiver on Willock to have more than one shot on target @ a boosted 9/1, last night, and collected £50. So i was looking forward to today's racing, hoping to have a decent punt with that extra ammunition in my pocket. How disappointing:-( It has taken me the best part of an hour to come up with 4 for a L15 and i really cannot be arissed ploughing through stats for the ITV 7.

3.00 N'b; King Frankel @ 7/1 - 4 places
3.15 N'm; Seven Brothers @ 10/1 - 6 places
4.30 Thi; Leo Davinci @ 8/1 - 6 places
4.45 N'b; Overwrite @ 14/1 - 4 places

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = poss £58, 4 winners = poss £12,439.

Also done a small e.w. on Dubai Acclaim @ 14/1 in the 2.10 Thirsk to 5 places.

Best of luck, all.
In answer to your Palace Pier poser, Spice, of course it CAN be beat. It was beaten last time it ran on ground with the word 'soft' in the description and it was also odds on that day. However, i wouldn't back against it - not even with stolen money.
What's the other 'dead cert' you allude to?
My lot kick off at 1230 and i've just succumbed to the temptation of SkyBet's offer of 11/2 that Chris Wood scores with a header anytime in the match. He is in great current form and while just one of his last 5 goals was scored with his head, his aerial ability is feared throughout the PL.
If you believe PP can annihilate the rest of the field, you can get 3/1 with Silly Bill for it to win by over 3l.

Also pulled a shoe. I refuse to run with 2 shoes on.
But yes, in theory anything can happen. (and often does)
I used to like reading those 'in running' reports of 1/100 shots getting beat. (Betfair) I think people had computer programmes set up to shovel money on at those prices. Must have been a 'nice' surprise for them when they got in from work, lol.
Accidental Agent@25/1 is the other dead cert. In the last race.
HI Guys, bit late today. Done these for now. ITV7 on. ****e/w Acca, Trebles, Doubles. ⁕⁕⁕Trixie. Good Luck out there.
Tactical⁕ @7/4 1.50 Nb
John Leeper⁕ @13/8 2.05Nm
Mabre* @12/1 2.10Th.
Fundamental⁕ @9/2 2.40Nm
Tamborrada* @11/2 3.00Nb
Perotto* @7/1 3.15Nm
Lope Y Fernandez* @13/2 3.35Nb
Well, Chris Wood didn't put his head to the ball once during the 62 mins he spent on the pitch and we were soundly thrashed 4-0. But for some good goalkeeping by their number 1 and some wayward finishing by my lads, the match could have ended 4-4. Leeds more than a tad too clinical.
Still, we're safe, and that's all that matters in the big scheme of things :-)
Rev F/c; King Frankel and Tamborrada.
And in the 3.15; Seven Brothers/Barney's Bay.
Just read back through your thread "Spike". I marked Accidental Agent in my paper this morning over breakfast, as my "get out of jail" card. It has been played. Previous winner of the Queen Anne and has been in races that most of these can only dream of.
I recollect mentioning Buick's love of Newmarket a few days back. I should have reminded myself of this earlier - 4 winners for the guy:-((
All i have to show for my exertions is a rev f/c in the 4.30 at Thirsk, which paid just shy of £13. Could've been better t'other way round 'cos the 2nd home was the 3rd leg of my L15.
Spice (Spike), you were asking about Sky the other day. It's the SkyBet Racing Club whereby, if you wager £25 per week, you receive a free £5 bet the following Monday. I've been in it for quite some time but i usually let it lapse outside our regular football season. This year, however, i may keep it going because of the Euros.
Correction, Sky Bet Club (don't know why i included the word 'Racing'?).
After all of yesterdays transactions, i had £11.80 in my Sky account. It's gone on the following 4 nags at Ripon;

Cometh The Man (5/2), Contact (5/2), Restless Endeavour (3/1) and Fiftyshadesofred (5/2). £1 win Yank, 80p acca. Poss £577.
