Apologies for the lateness this week. I've been battling to upload a fellow ABer's website to the internet, with the hosting company making everything far more difficult than it ought to be but I've got there in the end and suddenly remembered that it's quiz night here!

I haven't managed to celebrate my achievement with any fantastic scores on the quizzes though. I got an appalling ONE out of seven on the adult quiz
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-57101408

and then I repeated my feat by also scoring just ONE out of five on the junior one too!

So you'll all beat me easily this week, won't you?

;-)

Not great, Caran, but double my aggregate score nonetheless ;-)
Thanks Chris,

4/7 & 3/5 this week, although mostly guesses.
Question Author
Who cares if they're guesses, Twix?

You've still done 3½ times better on average than I did!
Question Author
On the (probably unlikely) chance that Milo2 looks in again, I'll apologise for ignoring your post earlier. It wasn't deliberate, honestly!

Well done on doing three times as well as I did, anyway!
3/7
3/5

Someone else who's beaten me by a factor of three, I see!

Well done, Patsy!

;-)
In answer to your OP Chris, I wouldn't bet on it! Here goes!
Told you! 1/7 in the adult one and 3/5 in the junior one. Looks like a detention for me Chris!
Question Author
I'll let you off, 10CS.

After all, your aggregate score is still double mine ;-)
3/5 for both.
Question Author
Three times as good as me then, Maggie!

;-)
3 and 4, helped that the animals that went to Edinburgh Zoo came from our local safari park, Woburn. Just recovering from the long battle which was Robbie versus the worming tablet. Flea treatment coming soon!
6 for me..
3 for the childrens one

Ooh! There are some early birds up and about I see! (I've not got to bed yet. I discovered some problems with the website I uploaded last night and I've spent all night getting them fixed).

Very well done indeed, Emmie! Extremely creditable scores from you, especially on a week where there have been loads of low scores. (I'm not the lowest!)

Your scores are quite good too, Campbellking, and a damned sight better than mine!

My cats are well overdue for worming. I've got some Dronspot to put on their necks though, which is a lot easier than getting tablets into them, but Moonbeam is only just starting to trust me again after putting flea treatment onto the back of his neck, So I won't rush to use the Dronspot for a little while yet, I think.

It's a quarter of a century since I was last at Woburn Safari Park but I've got fond memories of it from visiting it with a young friend. We managed to get there just as they were throwing food out of the back of a truck for the monkeys and followed behind in my car, which ended up completely covered in monkeys ;-)
i have been to a safari park, can't remember which one it was so long ago. Possibly woburn, where you saw monkeys ripping off bits from cars coming through.

I had a those little stick-on wide-angle mirrors, attached to the wing mirrors, on both sides of my car. At least I did when we went in but not when we came out ;-)
3/7
2/5

i know the feeling tiggs, i have been awake since 4 or so,

5 and 2 for me
