Just done my second home test and notified the website that it was negative - so why do they then message and email me to tell me my test was negative? I just told them that!

As long as it was free.... I once booked an appointment with my dentist, explaining I had broken a tooth and needed it fixed. Less than a minute in the chair, for him to tell me I had broken a tooth and should book an appointment. And £65 please.
so you and they have a written record.
It will be usefull if someone needs you to show you've had a negative test. Also it stops people ringing to ask 'did you recieve are results we sent in'
It's when you pay £45 to have your teeth counted that makes me grind my ivories down!, Pixie. Duh, I have 32 - well 31 at the moment and am waiting a pre-molar bridge.
I am sorry dtc - the lateral flow test wont do that for you
ter daaah
kinda nice u can use the email to flex on your peers be like look im negative wooo or you could use it as evidence
foo and yeah - i went to aldis damn them and they said sale refused so I left the food so as not to be charged,
and they took the money anyway

I am still grinding my gums ( see Dtc) over that one

They wish to complete the loop - and yes I think when I get a message lelling me I was negative I think
No - - I was telling YOU !

so every input gets an output saves the possibility when you let something flap in the breeze that 100 000 positive tests have taken that route ! ( as I think happened )
yeah roadie - hi by the way
bUT if you have 13 y old children they cd mock up a really good negative test email without er thought really
thats true peter but then again if ur test was positive and you wanted it to be negative youd just like tell the website its negative cus it doesnt actualllly know what the test says
//thats true peter but then again if ur test was positive and you wanted it to be negative youd just like tell the website its negative//

Why would you bother to take the test if that was your intention?
er because your dayzeer to know if you have covid or not outweighs your intention to tell the min the truth

and NJ you clearly havent taken a pregnancy test - sort of
on a technical note7a
a computer program / black box where you feed in a test ( input) and it spits out infected or not infected = ( total function ) (1)

has a radically different behaviour to one where you feed in a test ( input ) and it spits out - yes you are infected, and otherwise whirs and mutters to itself. ( = partial function) (2)

I think (1) is more suitable to covid testing altho (2) is more versatile and can do or cope with more things (Surprisingly, as Turing first found in his v first paper on the enscheidungsproblem
the ding dong problem was a (2) - a completely unexpected result
