Nothing to stop them getting ID. It will certainly make the illegals easier to spot.
The article says that 98% of voters already have an acceptable ID but of those, 4% of the photos are not identifiable...what's that all about?
i have a passport for ID, but don't take it out with me, it also doesn't have one's address in it either. I do have a photo on my bus pass, but that isn't particularly like me at all.
If ID cards are brought in what provision will be made for those who have a postal vote?

Postal votes have to be signed each time you vote and the signature is compared with the one you supply when you register for a postal vote.

I wonder how many homeless people are on the electoral register.
Perhaps some homeless folk don't know they can register to vote still?
perhaps they were registered to vote, but fell on hard times..
