Spent the time since the results mulling this over and wonder if Nicola has cost it out properly.
No UK
Brain drain
Expense of creating the infrastructure.
Could go on as she should just get Scotland back to work as like all have suffered with this virus.

doubt if there is a Plan B, as Plan A is just being floated. TTT thread is a good one, where he asked the Scottish Abers to respond to this points on Scottish Independence not sure if any replied.
will send you the link so you can have a read.
they can't go it alone, and won't do it now, not with the pandemic still raging, so Nicola Sturgeon says.
A very well thought out and reasoned post, brown. Keep it up 8/10.
Plan B - get carried off into the sunset on the shoulders of her supporters & retire.
It depends if the EU let them join... if they do then I suspect Scotland will be fine although I have said numerous times that I do not wish for them to leave... if the EU refuses them then I think they might be a bit screwed...

all of this is because of *** Brexit. Scottish independence was dead in the water after 2014 and then bloody Brexit came along and gave it a second wind... and to think that people used to say that the EU want to break up the UK - we're doing a marvellous job of that all on our own :/.
to where though, ?
‘ to think that people used to say that the EU want to break up the UK’

Did they?
brexit is over with, done and dusted, there may be some tweaks, but get over it.
TTT post which everyone should read is interesting in that he lists all the things which SNP haven't answered.
from memory, yes... I remember the express or the mail years ago claiming that Brussels was planning to break up the UK. I cannot find it after a few seconds of googling... but I'm sure it is out there somewhere.
Scotland surely have too much to lose if they split from the rest of the UK. Read TTT post, its enlightening.
Ah, well, if the express and the mail reported it, it must be true!
not heard of that by the way, UK shouldn't split, its wrong on so many levels.
Plan A is - get to sit at the top table of European premiers
and the rest will work itself out - and what a magnificent learning curve it will all be

// Plan B - get carried off into the sunset on the shoulders of her supporters & retire.//

or to another place where she can do even more good for everyone - a bit like Tony Blair, bless
can they afford to split, what about the armed services, NHS to pay for, police, what else is there but a load of hardships for the Scottish people.
