I've just installed a new PC monitor (AOC 22P1D) with built in speakers and I can't get them to work.
I can get sound through headphones plugged into the PC but nothing when unplugged.
The monitor came with several cables, some of which seem unrequired, and I've set up the monitor with just two cables; power and DVI. Everything else is working fine.
Can anyone help, please ?

Cheers. D.

Perhaps you need sound connected from the computer to the monitor?
A DVI connection won't always carry audio - anything here help? -

The DVI cable will only be supplying the video signal to the monitor. The audio signal needs a separate connection - looks like a 3.5mm jack plug cable in the manual.

Thanks to you all. All sorted thanks to your combined efforts, but Tuvok wins the gold medal for crossing the line first !
