What is the best holiday you have?

We took our boat over to France. Sailed down all the way to the med. then across to Toulouse. It took 2 months. Absolutely wonderful had to moor the boat down there as the engine was not strong enough to go against the tide on the seine. But it meant we could go down there for future holidays.

2005, two weeks in Yorkshire visiting a different race meeting daily. Well, 10 meetings during that two weeks, 4 of which were at Doncaster's St Leger week, 'days off' spent in York, mainly at the King's Arms on the banks of the Ouse. The sun shone throughout, the locals were friendly and the winners were plentiful. Best holiday by far.

The only one I wasn't keen on was Fuerteventura.

The several mini breaks I had in Rhos on Sea with my then beautiful dog, my Tara many years ago. We'd be on the beach for hours while she played in the sea and we stayed in a lovely hotel that catered for dogs. She had such a lovely time and I always think of those days with sheer happiness. Had many holiday abroad, but NOTHING compares to those days in Wales with my beloved Tara.
