Brother going in for day surgery, hernia quite low on his right hand side, doesn’t hurt. About as bit as an egg. As it is day surgery is it likely to be local anaesthetic and keyhole surgery? Thanks all.

Yes to both queries.
I’ve sported an umbilical hernia for the last 17 years. It’s now bigger than a tennis ball and I have to hold it in when I cough. Tried years ago to get it sorted. Doctors not overly interested. Probably be sorted when I’m cremated.
