Can't find a category for banking, hope it's ok to post here.

I use online banking with Santander and I'm trying to find out how much money and how many payments I've paid using payments and transfers, but it only seems to show the last transaction you made.
Anybody any idea how to find this out please?

A browser. I don't have anything that you can put an app on.
I don't use Santander but with my online banking I can see my statements and also put in dates to see transactions
can i be clear - are you looking for a payment made to a certian person/company, or all payments you have made using payments and transfers?

>>> Can't find a category for banking

'Business & Finance' perhaps? (There's a 'Personal Finance' category too - but it's not exactly well used!). Not that it really matters though, anyway.

There should be a 'View Transactions' button somewhere on your screen:

There is no facility to do this directly. The only way is to go into your account , do an advanced search and choose 'money out'. Then you have to go through all your transactions or print them out to see where your payments are going. Its clumpy and not user friendly.

Thanks APG. Looks like doing an advanced search and going through money out is the only way to do it. I want to go back quite a few years though, so it might take quite a bit of time.
round about now they should be sending you a printout of all your transaction for the last financial year

or not - - santander are a bit like that

PP I'm looking for transactions that go back at least 5 yrs maybe more.
Quite rubbish compared to some other banks online websites. It's worse using an app
I agree Barry if it was not for the fact we have about 18 direct debits coming out of our Santander account I would change it over to Lloyds. I have a private Lloyds account and its so much easier to navigate the site.
I have Santander on line & I don't get a paper statement of transactions at year end.

Must be signed up for "paperless"?
APG, I have changed current accounts several times and the DDs have always transferred automatically without problem. Don't let that put you off.
I don't get anything on paper from them either.
I've turned my ad blocker off and the results are not acceptable.
^^^ sorry wrong thread
Santander online (and the app) seems user freindly to me.

I can download transactions between any two dates (just tried last 5 years) into excel and then sort it by date, description, amount in, amount out.

Theres also an advanced search on there website. It says "To search for transactions by amount or type, use advanced search ."
What's Ethpanol for 'merchant bankers'?
