Help With Last Clue In This Week's Private Eye Crossword Please

Looking for help with my last clue in this week's crossword.

Trump's position regarding White House: "Expose result" (7)
I have all the Down answers, so
O?T?O?E, but can't be sure if it's OUTCOME, OUTVOTE, OUTDONE - or possibly something else...

Personally I see nothing wrong with this clue.

Cryptic part

Trumps position regarding White House = OUT
Expose = COME

Definition

Result = OUTCOME.

I find it difficult to parse OUTVOTE or OUTDONE

I can't find 'come' as a synonym for 'expose' in any list

Replying to my own question but I was taking the "expose" part of the clue as "OUT" it was the other half that was baffling me...
